AIM: To explore the treatment effects of secondary glaucoma after the restoration of traumatic cyclodialysis. METHODS: From June 1999 to September 2005, 35 cases of traumatic cyclodialysis were treated and observed. The follow-up time was 3-48 months. The clinical data was analyzed retrospectively. RESULTS: The intraocular pressure (IOP) of 26 cases traumatic cyclodialysis was raised after the treatment. The IOP of 25 cases was controlled after taking medicine, only one case needed the complex trabeculectomy. CONCLUSION: The IOP changes need intensive follow-up after the restoration of traumatic cyclodialysis, medicine and surgical treatment is helpful for controlling the IOP and improvement of vision.
