Glaucoma is one of the leading causes for visual function damage and blindness. It is necessary to find a kind of animal model suitable for the research on etiology, pathology, prevention, diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma. The intraocular pressure is a critical factor for the onset, development and prognosis of glaucoma. The precise measurement of intraocular pressure of experimental animals is quite significant for the study of pathogenesis, pathological changes, treatment and prognosis of glaucoma. This article reviewed the methods of measuring animal models' intraocular pressure. LA: Chinese
