Four classes of drugs are mainly used for glaucoma medical therapy: β-blockers, prostaglandin analogs, α-2 agonists, and carbonic anhydrase inhibitors. Clinicians can prescribe fixed combinations that associate two drugs from two different classes that have been available for a long time. Tolerance of fixed combinations seems to be better than the separate instillation of drugs, but it is interesting to review the adverse events and the contraindications of these drugs. LA: French
