Investigation of secondary glaucoma following penetrating keratoplasty

Secondary glaucoma following penetrating keratoplasty ( PKP) is a serious complication after the PKP due to its risk of graft failure and irreversible visual loss. In this article, the etiology, main risk factors and diagnosis criteria of secondary glaucoma after PKP are briefly introduced, and the precaution and treatment are investigated in details which include the preparation before PKP, manipulation of the operation, treatment after PKP. Focused on the penetrating keratoplasty with large corneal graft, various of operation styles are cited include deep lamellar keratoplasty, lamellar corneoscleral transplantation combined with partial penetrating keratoplasty, bridge type of penetrating keratoplasty, modified corneoscleral transplantation are presented in order to study their methods and processes. Besides, the anti-glaucoma medicine therapy and surgical treatment for post-operation glaucoma are also introduced in this article. LA: Chinese
