AIM: To investigate the HSP60 (heat shock protein 60) in the rat glaucoma model of acute retinal tissue and its relationship with the corresponding antibodies in serum. METHODS: Seventy SD rats were randomly divided into high-tension group 60 rats, the normal control group 10 rats. In Rats after general anesthesia, will be one of isotonic filled with a saline reservoir connected to the container on the 7th at 3:00 o'clock needle-piercing department of limbal anterior chamber to enhance the high storage containers, so that the intraocular pressure to achieve 110mmHg, but no more than 150mmHg, To observe white rat anterior segment and retinal color white, not red when it is reflective of retinal ischemia, ischemic reperfusion 1 hour, and after reperfusion 2,6,12, 24 hours; 3,7 days rats died of excessive anesthesia, put to death before the intraocular pressure measurement, blood 2mL, for enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, analysis of the retinal tissue HSP60 antigen produced in the corresponding serum antibody levels. And immediately took out its eyeballs, at the same time on rat retinal organizations paraffin sections using immunohistochemistry detection of retinal tissue HSP60 expression and distribution, and test results were statistically analyzed. RESULTS: The acute ocular hypertension induced by retinal ischemia/reperfusion group were significantly increased intraocular pressure, retinal tissue at the rate of positive expression of HSP60 after each point in time, ocular hypertension group and control group, the differences were significance (F = 97.21, 40.72, 83.85, 95.82, 48.63 and 44.37, P < 0.01)). RGC as the positive expression of HSP60 in intraocular pressure and high pressure gradually extending the duration and retinal nerve fiber layer also appear more pronounced positive expression of HSP60. CONCLUSION: HSP60 expression plays an important role in acute ocular hypertension. It may be caused by optic neuropathy. LA: Chinese
