Development of four-point perimeter

To improve rapid screening for glaucoma, four-point perimeter was developed. The system of four-point perimeter is constituted of upper computer, lower computer and communication interface. Upper computer (PC) sends orders to lower computer (MCU), and processes and analyzes the signals transmitted by the MCU. The MCU is used to control the light change and detection sequence of the light-emitting diode, and transmit the reply situation of the patients to PC. Data transmission is realized by serial communication between MCU and PC. The software design of MCU uses C programming language, and the software of PC is designed based on VB6.0. Four-point perimeter has the function of light control, interface display, patient data management, data transmission and disposal. Its sample device is used for clinical examination. This device has simple structure, full function, easily carrying, convenient detection process. It provides the basis for screening rapidly for glaucoma in future. LA: Chinese
