Current progress in life quality study on glaucoma patients

Nowadays, glaucoma is the major disease of inreversible blindness and the second cause inducing visual loss in the worldwide. The symptom, damage of visual function in glaucoma patient and the long-term therapy for glaucoma patient can influent their daily living and social activities, including mentality, society and economy of patients, which affects the life quality as well as mental and body health of those patients. This paper introduces the significance and tools of quality-of-life (QOL) assessments for patients with glaucoma, influencing factors and how to improve the QOL in glaucoma population. LA: Chinese
