Refractory glaucoma is a common eye disease, including the failure of filtration surgery, neovascular glaucoma, secondary glaucoma after penetrating keratoplasty, etc.. The cause of refractory glaucoma is complex, and the disease process is variable. Although more treatment, the poor efficacy of conventional surgery often is obtained because of resistance to drug, scar of filtration surgery to lead to surgical failure. A number of improved operation techniques for refractory glaucoma, such as the compound trabeculectomy, suprachoroidal drainage, gold ring implantation angle, panretinal photocoagulation combined with avastin ball injection, etc., have been gradually applied in clinic. This article reviews the relevant domestic and abroad literature, clinical efficacy and postoperative complication in the treatment of refractory glaucoma. LA: Chinese
