A new camera system is described that, when attached to an existing Haag-Streit-type slitlamp, can provide the photographic needs of the general ophthalmologist or optometrist conveniently and at relatively low cost. It can also be used to economically expand photography in a teaching environment. This photographic documentation is particularly beneficial when integrated into an electronic health record.
