Glaucoma comanagement: A practical guide

Glaucoma comanagement is a new frontier that has been opened up legislatively. Development of this component of practice requires building professional relationships with pharmacists, ophthalmologists, and physicians. Beyond that, the development of didactic skills, diagnostic skills, and clinical skills are required to successfully comanage glaucoma patients. Glaucoma comanagement is a growth process that each optometrist should pursue to his or her maximum comfort level. This article provides the tools to begin developing glaucoma comanagement in your practice.
