Malignant Glaucoma revers to high intraocular pressure with a shallow or flat anterior chamber and a patent iridectomy. The authors describe th emeachanism of malignant glaucoma as far as it is known. They continue with the clinical picture and the diagnosis followed by the differential diagnosis. They consider the diagnostic use of ultrasonographic biomicroscopy. They feel that this methodology is indispensible for the diagnosis of malignant glaucoma. The review continues in discussing the medical and surgical management of this condition. Finally they onclude that the fellow eye is at risk for malaignant glaucoma.
