PURPOSE: The evaluation of the influence of laser trabeculoplasty on the corneal thickness and central endothelial cell density. MATERIAL AND METHODS: Corneal thickness and central endothelial cell density were measured before and three months after laser treatment. Patients were divided into two groups with different energy applied: 550-800 mW and 850-1100 mW. RESULTS: Differences of corneal thickness and central endothelial cell density were not statistically significant, either within or between the groups. CONCLUSION: Laser trabeculoplasty performed with energy up to 1100 mW has no influence on corneal thickness and central endothelial cell density. LA: Polish
