Healthcare professionals have an important role in educating and supporting patients to manage their condition and adhere to their glaucoma management regimens. Since patients with glaucoma may have additional health conditions, healthcare professionals should have an understanding of glaucoma and the importance of continuing treatment, so that they can facilitate care effectively.
