The main optic neurogliocytes are astroglia and oligodendrocyte. Based on their difference of the origination and differentiation, they play important roles in optic nerve development, differentiation, and damage repairing. 0-2A progenitor cells are the perfect model for researching genetical modulation in the course of cells differentiation and tumor generation. Unmature glia can improve the regeneration of optic nerve in the adult mouse. Recent research has shown new hope in the treatment of nerve optic diseases. LA: Chinese
