Secondary Brown's syndrome following glaucoma drainage implant device

PURPOSE: Case report of a patient with acquired Brown's syndrome after superior nasal implantation of glaucoma filtering device. SETTING: Department of Ophthalmology, Federal Fluminense University, Niteroi - RJ. METHOD: Case report. RESULTS: A patient with neovascular glaucoma and drainage implant device in the superior nasal quadrant presented with acquired Brown's syndrome. CONCLUSIONS: This case report presents a case of acquired Brown's syndrome following a drainage implant device, demonstrating that it can be a complication related to the placement of the implant in the nasal superior quadrant.LA: Portuguese
