OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effect of corneal topographic indices and central corneal thickness (CCT) on the measured result of un-contact tonometer. METHODS: Intraocular pressure (IOP) was measured on 1 308 eyes with the diopter of -0.75 DS- -25.00 DS using un-contact tonometer. Corneal refractive power (SimK), symmetry (SRI) and corneal center regulation (SAI) were measured with corneal topographer. Multivariate linear regression analysis was used to study the relationship between independent variables and IOP readings. RESULTS: CCT and SimK1 were significantly correlated with IOP readings (P < 0.01), while SRI, SAI were not correlated with IOP readings (P > 0.05). CONCLUSION: The CCT and corneal refractive power (SimK1), but SAI and SRI, affect the measured results of un-contact tonometer significantly. LA: Chinese
