The multifocal visual evoked potential (mVEP) has recently been introduced in the glaucoma study. Compared to conventional VEP, it has better capability of spatial location. Unlike the subjective perimetry, it is much easier for patients to accept because it has no learning curve. This paper reviewed the recording methods, the mVEPs of the normal subjects and its application in glaucoma, especially its relationship with Humphrey visual field. LA: Chinese
