OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the clinical effect of non-penetrating trabecular surgery (NPTS) with reticulated sodium hyaluronate implantation for the treatment of primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG). METHODS: NPTS with reticulated sodium hyaluronate implantation was performed in ten eyes of nine patients with POAG. The preoperative and postoperative vision, intraocular pressure (IOP), and postoperative complication were recorded. RESULTS: The patients' postoperative IOP was controlled. Postoperative vision recovered quickly. Less complications were seen. CONCLUSIONS: NPTS with reticulated sodium hyaluronate implantation is an effective method for the treatment of POAG. There are less operative complications.LA: Chinese
