- In contrast to non-pseudoexfoliative open-angle glaucoma, deep sclerectomy or viscocanaliculostomy were successful only in 12% without YAG goniopucture in pseudoexfoliative glaucoma during the 18-months follow-up.
- Modulation of TGF b-induced myofibroblast-transdifferentiation: Selective inhibition of intracellular signalling pathways may prevent fibroblast transdifferentiation in human tenon capsule fibroblasts.
- At a mean follow-up of 33 and 36 months respectively, primary MMC and 5FU trabeculectomies had equal efficacy and safety.
