From The WGC Program Committee Chairs

Your Program Committee has worked hard to develop an innovative and cutting-edge scientific program, covering all aspects of glaucoma care. Educational events include symposia on key issues in glaucoma management and translational discoveries, in addition to practical clinical courses led by our best experts, Grand Round cases and a film festival showcase.

Childhood glaucoma will be featured on Thursday July 18th with highlights from the Childhood Glaucoma Consensus Meeting. Glaucoma Surgery Day will be held on Friday July 19th.

A record number of poster presentations will be displayed during the meeting, in addition to numerous Industry-sponsored symposia and those organized and hosted by several WGA member Glaucoma Societies.

A number of special social events have been planned to network with colleagues, and as an added educational feature, many scientific presentations will be captured for post-meeting viewing. The full social calendar and scientific program can be viewed at WGC-2013 website.

We look forward to seeing you all in Vancouver for the 5th World Glaucoma Congress!
