Launch of the WGA Educational Portal

Professor Robert D. Fechtner

Professor Robert D. Fechtner, Executive Vice President

In September 2013 the WGA Educational Portal was launched, offering online access to some of the highlights of the 5th World Glaucoma Congress 2013.

All WGC-2013 participants have received their login codes to review the sessions they attended or view the ones they missed during the Congress with a simple click of the mouse! 44 of the exciting sessions that were presented in Vancouver are easily accessible, anywhere and anytime. It is a great opportunity to learn more from the education and science that was provided and presented during the Congress. Non-WGC-2013 participants are able to register for full access to the WGA Educational Portal at a fee of € 199. Please visit the WGA website (www.worldglaucoma.org) for a complimentary preview of one of the offered symposiums and to arrange your access to the Portal. A subscription offers 24/7 access until June 30, 2015.

The WGA online learning center will enable you to extend and expand your educational and training goals; it gives you quick access to a wide variety of the WGC-2013 sessions via a user-friendly and fully searchable multimedia library. Additional educational materials will be added to the portal throughout the year.

Getting the knowledge you need, anytime, anywhere. This virtual education portal provides education of the highest standard within the field of glaucoma.

We do hope you will use this new WGA Educational tool, as it highlights an important WGA goal of providing continuing learning opportunities to the glaucoma community.
