AIM OF INVESTIGATION: The optimization of the effectiveness of the surgical-medical treatment of uveitic glaucoma patients. MATERIAL & METHODS: Different comparable ways of the modern surgical-medical treatment of this disease have been studied in 75 eyes of 62 patients. It was determined that combination of proposed intrascleral capsuloplasty with pulling up of scleral flap method and partially functional medicine Aktipol is more effective than those of other comparable method. RESULTS: This method results in normalization of intra ocular pressure level in 94.2% of the patients; while in other comparable group (Ahmed Valve implantation) these indicators are lower by 11-14% respectively. It should be noted that the number of post operative complications, after the treatment with this method is significantly lower than those in other comparable group. In summary the combination of proposed intrascleral capsuloplasty with pulling up of scleral flap method and Aktipol is relevant pathogenetic surgical-medical treatment method in complex treatment of uveitic glaucoma.
