We observed two cases who developed pseudopemphigoid after prolonged topical medication for glaucoma with timolol, dipivefrin among others. The condition failed to improve in one eye of the first case despite anti- inflammatory agents and prolonged lid closure. The second case improved after similar treatment. The observed pseudopemphigoid appeared to have been induced by the cytotoxicity of antiglaucomatous agents or immune-related. We advocate early detection and treatment of this condition.LA: Japanese
