Treatment of patients with aphakia and increased intraocular pressure by beta-blockers is sufficiently effective. Instillations of these agents decreases ophthalmic tone in patients with aphakia combined with primary glaucoma and in those with aphakic glaucoma. Intraocular pressure decreased in 70% of patients and the effect persisted for at least three months in the majority of cases. LA: Russian
