Corneal endothelial changes were examined using a specular microscope in a nine-year-old patient with congenital glaucoma and Descemet's membrane ruptures (Haab's striae). Endothelial cell density was significantly decreased to 1900 ± 184 mm2 in the right eye and to 1767 ± 80 mm2 in the left eye near the ruptured Descemet's membrane. The normal hexagonal pattern was present. Long-term follow-up is needed for patients with this condition. LA: Japanese
