Gonioscopy – A forgotten art A presentation covering
the basic discussion of how to perform and interpret gonioscopy.. The presentation,
mostly targeted for trainees, also emphasized the hands-on practice sessions

My patients do not take glaucoma medications – why?! A presentation, highlighting in detail all the issues related to compliance,
adherence and persistence. A comparison of different groups of medications from
the point of view of compliance was also presented. (Waleed Tantawy, UK)
Role of IOP control and glaucoma progression The paper
highlighted the fundamental concept of IOP as the only modifiable risk factor
and covered the literature review as the evidence base proving control of glaucoma
progression through control of IOP. Clinical scenarios were also presented in
which good control of IOP clearly showed maintenance of visual field and all

Trabeculectomy made easy The presentation covered step-by-step
trabeculectomy surgery. The difficulties in these steps were highlighted, as

Needling procedures The presentation showed dissection
of fibrotic and failed blebs through various gauge needles. It also covered
usefulness of simultaneous or preoperative adjuvants (MMC/5FU). Various surgical
scenarios were presented and a needling procedure was demonstrated.
